Vantage Data Centers Secures $1.6 Billion Investment from GIC and ADIA for APAC Expansion

Vantage Data Centers has secured a $1.6 billion investment from GIC and ADIA to bolster its presence in the Asia-Pacific region. The funding will facilitate the acquisition of Yondr Group’s 300 MW hyperscale data center campus in Johor, Malaysia, marking a strategic MOVE to capitalize on growing demand for digital infrastructure driven by AI and cloud computing.

The investment round, backed by GIC and ADIA, underscores institutional confidence in Vantage’s expansion strategy. The Johor campus, located in Sedenak Tech Park, is among the largest hyperscale facilities in the region and aligns with Vantage’s broader ambitions to scale its APAC platform.

DigitalBridge Group, a key investor in Vantage, recently acquired the Johor asset, further consolidating its focus on digital infrastructure. The transaction highlights the accelerating convergence of capital and technology in emerging markets.
